Rediscovering Life at Villa Balea: A Retreat

It is a place where I feel at home when I am in Spain.

There’s a special place that calls to me every winter and spring: my Spanish holiday home Villa Balea. It’s more than just a destination it is a part of my family history. Today it is a haven where I reconnect with friends, family, and colleagues on a deeper level. Every visit becomes an opportunity to slow down, breathe, and soak in the beauty of the Mediterranean lifestyle.

A Place to Nurture Connections

At Villa Balea, time goes a bit slower, allowing me to meet up with and truly engage with the people I care about. Whether it’s sharing long meals under the warm sun, chatting over freshly brewed coffee, or laughing late into the evening, this place fosters moments to nurture relationships.

Embracing Mediterranean Living

The villa’s serene environment captures the essence of Mediterranean life. The Alicante sunlight, the gentle rustle of the trees in the Villa Balea garden, and the produce (Mediterranean fruits and vegetables) is the experience I embrace. Each visit becomes a culinary adventure, as I make it a point to learn something new about the region’s food and history.

What Villa Balea means to me

I have so many precious memories from when I lived here with my family and when we come for holidays every year. In my blog I wish to share with others my favorite places and things to do in and around Ciudad Quesada. In order for you to create unforgettable memories on your holiday, just like me.

The villa and the studio

The first floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, kitchen and living room. There is a beautiful glazed terrace. In addition there is a studio is on the second floor with kitchen, beds, sitting room, bathroom and balcony. Perfect as a generational holiday home.

Get to know Villa Balea

For me, Villa Balea is where you feel comfortable, safe and can be yourself. You can spend lazy days around the pool or in the gardens. One of my favorite rooms is the glazed terrace. Perfect in the vinter to work, have long lunches with friends or just read a book.

The area and surroundings

Villa Balea is 800 meters to shopping center with bars, banks, shops and restaurants as well as recreation areas and the countryside. You are close to the villages Benijofar and Rojales.
